Grub Splash Image

Membuat gambar berukuran 640×480 pixel.

Rubah mode-nya menjadi indexed 16 warna.
Simpan file tersebut dengan nama pilihan anda,
Beri ekstensi xpm.
Lalu sebagai root, pindahkan gambar tersebut ke direktori /boot/grub/
Kemudian, masih sebagai root, edit file /boot/grub/menu.lst, tambahkan baris berikut:
splashimage /boot/grub/splash.xpm
